OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – An Oshtemo Township man faces drug and weapons charges after a raid by the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team and Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety Crime Reduction Team early this week.
KDPS says a search warrant was executed in the 1300 block of Concord Place Drive following an investigation into drug sales. They say the suspect, 24-year-old Darius Frazier, was contacted while he was seated in a vehicle and arrested without incident. A search of his vehicle yielded controlled substances.
Following his arrest, a search of his residence was conducted which yielded an unregistered firearm, various forms of controlled substances, evidence of drug manufacturing and distribution, and
US currency, which is believed to be profits of drug sales. The firearm, which was equipped with an extended magazine, had been modified with a “switch,” thus making it a fully automatic handgun.
Frazier was arrested and lodged at the Kalamazoo County Jail on the following charges:
• Possession with Intent to Deliver – Heroin / Fentanyl
• Possession with Intent to Deliver – Cocaine
• Weapons – Firearms – Devices to Convert Semiautomatic to Automatic
• Felony Firearm
• Prohibited Person in Possession of a Firearm
• Prohibited Person in Possession of Ammunition

Frazier had been previously convicted of felony charges and cannot legally possess a firearm or ammunition. Additionally, he was recently released from prison in 2025 for weapon related offenses. Thursday Fraizer was arraigned in Kalamazoo County 8th District Court. He was issued a $200,000 cash or surety bond.
