March 4 (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday said he would make an endorsement soon in the Republican primary for the Texas Senate seat and called for the candidate he does not endorse to immediately drop out of the race.
The announcement comes as U.S. Senator John Cornyn and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton head into a runoff election for the Republican nomination.
