KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A man arrested for a 2024 shooting outside a Little Caesars on West Main Street in Kalamazoo has been sentenced to between 22-and-40-years in prison.
Javion Jackson was found guilty nearly a month ago of five charges of attempted murder, three charges of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, three charges of discharging a firearm from a vehicle, and more.
Four people were shot and injured on December 3rd, 2024 outside the restaurant.
Jackson’s co-defendant Dominque Motton is still waiting for his trial in the West Main Street shooting.
