MARSHALL, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan State Police are looking for a man they say is missing after a crash on I-94 near Marshall Monday night.
At approximately 10:45 p.m., troopers from the Marshall Post were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash on I-94 near 15 Mile Road. When they arrived they found the driver of the vehicle was no longer on or near the scene and was believed to be injured.
The driver was identified as Raymundo Garcia, of the Lansing area.
Troopers, along with the Calhoun
County Sheriff’s Office, area fire departments, and medical personnel, conducted a search of the surrounding area, contacted local businesses, hotels, and gas stations in an effort to locate Garcia, but he was not found.
State Police say family members, friends, and coworkers have been contacted, but as of Tuesday no
information has been obtained regarding Garcia’s whereabouts.
Currently troopers are investigating this as a missing and endangered person case.
Garcia is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, approximately 180 pounds, with brown eyes and a bald head.
