KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Kalamazoo County Democratic Party’s Do Something Committee will welcome Secretary of State and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Jocelyn Benson to town Monday, March 23rd for what they are calling a community conversation.
It will be at 5 p.m. and open to all Kalamazoo County residents, but people need to RSVP ahead of time to learn the location.
Benson will discuss challenges Michigan families are facing, protecting democracy, strengthening the economy, and working to make government work better for everyone.
The event is the launch of the Do Something Committee’s monthly series of community action from now through the November midterm elections.
Attendees will also have the chance to sign up for volunteer roles in the upcoming election season.
