BYRON TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A Michigan State Police cruiser was damaged Wednesday when it was parked on the ramp from M-6 to Wilson Avenue in Byron Township.
A car rammed into the rear of the cruiser on the driver’s side, but no one was hurt.
The trooper was at the scene investigating an earlier crash.
Michigan State Police say on social media the crash is a reminder that the state has a law requiring drivers to slow down and move over when they see emergency vehicles on the side of the road.
