March 24 (Reuters) – Iraq on Tuesday arrested four suspects it said were behind Monday’s rocket attack on a base in northeastern Syria, the Iraqi prime minister’s office said.
Two Iraqi security sources told Reuters on Monday that at least seven rockets were launched from the Iraqi town of Rabi’a toward a U.S. military base in northeastern Syria.
However, the Syrian army said hours after that one of its military bases in the northeastern city of Hasaka came under a rocket attack, without referring to the base being American or housing U.S. troops.
