KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo Township is planning to build a new $45-million community complex on Douglas Avenue near West Mosel Avenue and have it open before the 2028 election.
Trustees looked at the plans this week for the facility, which will have the township offices and board chambers in the front half and the police station on the second floor in the rear of the building.
The board chambers will have 108 seats, television screens, and a large projector screen and be able to be used as a community space.
Architects say the new facility will be a huge leap forward from their current building on Old Riverview Drive.
