INDIANAPOLIS, IN (WKZO AM/FM) – The number-one seed Michigan Wolverines have won their second NCAA men’s basketball championship.
Michigan beat second-seeded UConn, 69-to-63, in Indianapolis and was led by Elliot Cadeau with 19 points.
The win was the first championship for the Wolverines since 1989 when they beat Seton Hall.
The Huskies were playing for their third title in four years and their seventh overall.
