LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Governor Gretchen Whitmer is not going to make any endorsements in the Democratic Party’s primary races for Secretary of State or the U.S. Senate.
Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist is running for Secretary of State along with Whitmer’s former deputy legal counsel and Michigan Lottery commissioner Suzanna Shkreli and Ingham County Clerk Barb Byrum.
The U.S. Senate race on the Democratic side is between Congresswoman Haley Stevens, state Senator Mallory McMorrow, and Abdul El-Sayed.
