HARTFORD TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 45-year-old Hartford man is in the Van Buren County Jail after police arrested him when they were executing a search warrant in Hartford Township Thursday morning.
The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit and SWAT Team searched the home on 62nd Street near 66th Avenue and found roughly 10 grams of methamphetamine hidden in a compartment in a bedroom wall.
Several guns that had obliterated serial numbers were also seized and will be sent to the Michigan State Police Crime Laboratory for analysis, including possibly restoring the serial numbers.
The suspect is facing charges including maintaining a drug house, possession with intent to distribute meth, felon in possession of a firearm, and more.
