KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo city commissioners will have housing on the agenda again this evening, but it could be a short discussion.
They were set to receive a presentation on an $18.9 million Community Change grant to pay for home repairs and construction trades training, that may have been cancelled by the Trump administration.
County Board Chair Jen Strebs said last week that they got word from other municipalities that their grants had been scrubbed.
We could get an update on the status of that grant this afternoon at the city’s Committee of the Whole meeting.
