GALESBURG, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in connection with a series of armed robberies that occurred earlier this year in the Galesburg area.
Thursday afternoon 21-year-old Linsy-Jeremah Gibson of Galesburg was arraigned in Kalamazoo County District Court. He was been charged with two counts of armed robbery. Gibson’s bond was set at $100,000 cash or surety, and his next court appearance is scheduled for May 7.
January 15, 2025, the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an armed robbery involving a Hungry Howie’s pizza delivery driver. A second robbery was reported on February 26, 2025, when a Pizza King delivery driver was similarly targeted. Both incidents took place within the city of Galesburg.
KCSO detectives say they spent the past several months working on this case, reviewing witness statements, analyzing both physical and digital evidence, and executing multiple search warrants. They say those efforts led to the identification and arrest of Gibson, who is also the reported victim in the April 3 armed robbery in Galesburg. That investigation remains ongoing.
