WASHINGTON (Reuters) -U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration has filed a complaint against Illinois, alleging that the state was encroaching on federal immigration authority, the U.S. Justice Department said on Thursday.
“This Department of Justice is committed to protecting American workers, employers, and enforcing federal immigration law,” Attorney General Pamela Bondi said in a statement.
