KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kenneth Leonard has been named the new board president of the Kalamazoo Valley Habitat for Humanity.
Leonard will lead the organization and serves as CEO of Element 22 Commercial Group.
He has already been serving on the board for 8 years on the finance committee and has extensive experience in the commercial banking space.
Additionally, he has previously been a volunteer on the boards and committees for the YMCA, Kalamazoo Rotary, The Adventure Centre at Pretty Lake, Greater Southwest Chapter of Credit Unions, the Michigan Credit Union League, and is the co-founder and CEO of Element 22 Commercial Group.
Leonard called it an honor and privilege to have been on the board for the past eight years and adds as the new president, “I look forward to continuing the great work of the organization and to be able to promote affordable housing with all of the amazing services offered to help ensure our homeowners will be successful in their new homes.”
Kalamazoo Valley Habitat for Humanity’s mission is to provide safety and security to neighborhoods and to cultivate a greater sense of pride and empowerment in the community.
