KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) -A Kalamazoo man who pled guilty to setting multiple fires in the city between June and September last year has been sentenced a to 17 to 40 years in prison for the string of arsons.
33-year-old George Stanard entered guilty pleas in May to three counts of first-degree arson and one count of third-degree arson as a second-habitual offender. He was sentenced in Kalamazoo County Circuit Court Monday.
Multiple residents were displaced in the fires and several first responders suffered minor injuries.
