KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Several local elected officials took note of the pressure building on the national political scene at community meetings this week.
Kalamazoo County board chair Jen Strebs and vice chair John Taylor commented on the violence in Minnesota that left a state Representative and her husband dead and another Democrat and his wife wounded.
Kalamazoo city commissioner Don Cooney applauded the thousands of demonstrators who turned out for the area’s “No Kings Day” protest over the weekend and recalled some of their signs.
We still have 3-1/2 years of President Trump’s second term.
