BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Battle Creek Police Department (BCPD) is investigating a shots fired incident that happened in Battle Creek Tuesday.
They say around 9:30 Tuesday night officers responded to the 100 block of Freedom Lane after a caller reported a bullet entered an apartment through a bedroom window.
Officers located several shell casings in the area, and apon further investigation revealed that bullets struck two separate apartments and one vehicle in the complex.
Police don’t believe the apartments or the vehicle that was struck were the intended targets.
