LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Smoke from Canadian wildfires will stick around in Michigan until the middle of the week.
The state Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy has extended the air quality alert through today statewide as a result.
The air quality will be “unhealthy for sensitive groups” around Michigan as a result.
Many of the wildfires in western Canada are burning out of control.
