NEWBERG TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says a teen from Plainwell caused a two vehicle crash that a woman the hospital Friday morning.
Around 8:45 a.m., deputies from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle crash east of the intersection of M-60 and Woodlake Road in Newberg Township.
The Sheriff’s Office says their investigation showed that a vehicle driven by 44-year-old Nora Gill of Chicago, Illinois was eastbound on M-60. A vehicle driven by 19-year-old Logan King of Plainwell was westbound on M-60 and failed to yield to oncoming traffic, while turning south into the eastbound lane, crashing into Gill.
Gill was transported by Newberg Township EMS to Three Rivers Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
