EMMETT TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Passengers on an Amtrak train were stuck for four hours Friday night near Battle Creek.
Mechanical problems are blamed for the issue, and Amtrak says the passengers including Alfarezdeq Nassir were removed from the train after they determined the problem couldn’t be fixed.
Buses took them to their destinations, and exactly what the mechanical problem was has not been disclosed.
Passengers were off the train about midnight and arrived at their destinations around 3 a.m.
