(Corrects to show the outbreak originated in the province of Buenos Aires, not the capital)
SANTIAGO (Reuters) -Chile’s Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG) said on Monday it has temporarily suspended poultry imports from Argentina following a bird flu outbreak in the province of Buenos Aires.
In a statement, SAG said it was accepting exports dated through August 4. On August 20, China also suspended poultry imports from Argentina, five months after it had lifted a two-year ban.
