Weapon found in vehicle in parking lot of Van Buren Tech Center

LAWRENCE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A weapon was found yesterday morning inside a vehicle parked at the Van Buren Tech Center in Lawrence.

Van Buren Intermediate School District officials say staff and students were not in any danger and police responded immediately.

The weapon was found during a routine sweep of the parking lot yesterday morning.

There has been no word on any arrests.
