PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The city of Portage will be doing storm sewer improvements near the Stanwood Crossings development in early September.
As a result, the south side of Woodbine Avenue will be closed from Tuesday, September 2nd through Friday, September 5th at the entrance to Stanwood Crossings.
After that, the north side of Stanley Avenue will be closed from Monday, September 8th through Friday, September 12th also at the entrance to Stanwood Crossings.
The city says the Stanley Avenue closure will be contingent on the Woodbine Avenue work being completed as planned.
After the storm sewer improvements, both Woodbine and Stanley avenues will get a base coat asphalt patch to restore the pavement in the affected areas. The dewatering pipe currently crossing Woodbine Avenue will also be removed as part of the project.
