BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Battle Creek police say at approximately 3 p.m. Monday, they were dispatched to the area just north of Battle Creek High School following reports of a disturbance.
According to preliminary information, a verbal altercation occurred between a group of individuals in a vehicle and another group on foot. During the incident, a subject fired an undetermined number of rounds.
One individual was struck and sustained a non-life-threatening injury. The individual was treated and released. No other injuries have been reported at this time.
