LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan is one of six states being sued by the U.S. Department of Justice for not providing the federal government with sensitive, private voter data.
Attorney General Pam Bondi says clean voter roles are the foundation of free and fair elections, and “every state has a responsibility to ensure that voter registration records are accurate, accessible, and secure.”
She says states that don’t provide the information “will see this Department of Justice in court.”
The DOJ is suing California, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New York, and Pennsylvania in federal court.
