KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Public input is being sought by city of Kalamazoo officials in their traffic safety plan.
The city received $750,000 from the federal government in 2023 to help with the planning and piloting of several traffic-calming initiatives.
Public Works Manager and Traffic Engineer Dennis Randolph says they are trying to get drivers to slow down on city streets, using speed bumps in some areas and traffic circles in others.
The deadline to submit thoughts through the city of Kalamazoo’s website is next Friday.
