BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Police have arrested a 49-year-old Battle Creek man early Wednesday morning in connection with a stabbing near Main Street and Pittee Street in Battle Creek.
They responded to a report of a stabbing around 12:15 a.m. and the suspect ran off before police arrived.
The victim is a 31-year-old Battle Creek man who is hospitalized in stable condition. He and a witness described the suspect, and he was arrested Wednesday evening as he was at a motel in the 100 block of North Division Street.
No names have been released.
