PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Retail giant Target is denying any wrong doing in relation to a lawsuit which was filed by a woman following an incident at the Target in Portage.
In August 2022, Dannica Alling claims she was secretly recorded by another customer inside a fitting room at the store on South Westnedge Avenue. Alling filed a lawsuit against Target, seeking $25,000 in damages, claiming that Target’s fitting rooms were not properly designed.
Target has now responded to the lawsuit, denying any wrongdoing and is asking a judge to dismiss the lawsuit.
The suspect who took the pictures of Alling was arrested and later convicted of capturing an image of an unclothed person.
