KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The annual rivalry football game between Western Michigan University and Central Michigan University Saturday will feature a bit more firepower at Waldo Stadium.
The Kalamazoo City Commission Thursday approved a special permit to allow fireworks to be set off at the game.
Mayor David Anderson says he hopes the fireworks will bring a big crowd to Waldo Stadium and help WMU to a win in a key Mid American contest.
Kickoff is 4:00 p.m.
