KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A domestic violence incident that turned into a stand-off with police in Kalamazoo ended peacefully Sunday night.
At approximately 9:00 p.m. Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Flower Street regarding a report of a felonious domestic assault involving a firearm.
When they arrived officers found a 51-year-old female victim who had sustained injuries after being struck by a firearm, although no shots were fired. She was treated at a local hospital for her injuries.
