PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The vote for Portage mayor went to incumbent Patricia Randall..
Randall got 8,067 votes for 61.66%, while challenger Nasim Ansari had 4,992 and 38.16%.
For the Portage city commission, Victor Ledbetter got the most votes at 19.32%, Jihan Young was second with 17.91%, and Kathleen Olmstead was third with 15.2%.
Of the seven candidates for three seats, city commissioner Terry Urban, Mark McKeon, Jason Mikkelborg, and Jay Woodhams all came up short of the votes to be elected.
