LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services has directed its Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program vendor to once again start issuing full SNAP benefits for November.
SNAP recipients who normally get their payments on the ninth day of the month should receive their full payment within the next 48 hours.
Everyone else should get their full benefits on their normally scheduled date.
Governor Whitmer recently announced the state is providing $4.5-million to the Food Bank Council of Michigan to help people get food and called on the Trump administration to fully fund SNAP.
