BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 23-year-old Battle Creek man has died after his bicycle was struck while he was riding on West Columbia Avenue Tuesday morning.
Battle Creek Police say that around 6:45 a.m. the bicyclist traveling westbound on West Columbia Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle also traveling westbound. Battle Creek Police, the Battle Creek Fire Department and LifeCare Ambulance responded to the scene.
A news release from the police department says no charges are being pursued at this time, and the incident remains under investigation.
