KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The board of directors for the Greater Kalamazoo Association of Realtors has selected Leighun Brabec as their new chief executive officer.
She will take the job December 1, 2025 and succeeds Robin McIntosh.
McIntosh retired in July 2025 after more than 13 years of service.
The GKAR says Brabec was selected for her “extensive leadership experience, strong record of community involvement, and her member-focused approach” to serving realtors and GKAR business partners.
Brabec joins GKAR from Lincoln, Nebraska and brings more than 20 years of experience in residential real estate sales and brokerage management.
The GKAR says she is “deeply committed to positioning associations and real estate professionals for long-term success through innovative education, industry advocacy, and meaningful member support.”
