BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Battle Creek Fire Department says no one was injured in a fire at a vacant commercial structure Sunday morning on Upton Avenue.
The flames were reported just before 10 a.m. at 72 Upton Avenue and black smoke was seen coming from a detached garage.
The fire was under control in about 20 minutes.
The cause is still under investigation by the BCFD Fire Marshal’s office.
