India’s December infrastructure output grows 3.7% y/y

NEW DELHI, Jan 20 (Reuters) – ‍India’s infrastructure output rose 3.7% ‌year-on-year in ‌December, government data showed on Tuesday.

The index, ​which tracks ‍activity ​across ​eight sectors ‍and makes up 40% of the ‍country’s industrial production, grew ‍at ‍a ​revised 2.1% ​year-on-year ⁠in ‌November.
