KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Dozens of Western Michigan University students marched across campus yesterday in an anti-ICE protest in solidarity with Minneapolis.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is under scrutiny for the shooting deaths of U.S. citizens Renee Good and Alex Pretti this month in Minnesota.
College Democrats at WMU president Ellena Ransom says the students took time out of their day and put in the effort despite “being very vulnerable with our degrees and with our presence here on campus.”
Other groups like Broncos for Michigan joined the protest.
