WASHINGTON, DC (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan Congressman Tom Barrett has introduced a constitutional amendment to limit the terms of federal judges.
The amendment would also apply to the U.S. Supreme Court and cap the amount of time someone could serve at 20-years.
Judges who complete a 20-year term would also be banned from being reappointed to the same federal court.
It would only apply to new federal judges.
