ANN ARBOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Great Lakes are now 55% covered by ice, up from 42% last week.
Lake Erie is 95% covered, and Lake Huron’s coverage has increased from 51% last week to 72% now.
Lake Michigan is 36% covered by ice, Lake Superior is up to 47% covered in ice, and Lake Ontario’s ice coverage is the lowest at 35%, up from 24% last week.
