FREDONIA TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Three dogs are in protective custody after a search warrant was carried out Tuesday afternoon in Fredonia Township.
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office Animal Control division executed the warrant around 2 p.m. in the 14000 block of A Drive South.
They started their investigation Monday following the death of a dog at the home and found poor living conditions there for other animals.
The sheriff’s office is seeking animal neglect charges against the homeowner from the Calhoun County Prosecutor’s Office.
No arrests have been made.
