LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Michigan State Housing Development Authority has set a record in 2025 for how many people they helped become homeowners.
The MSHDA says they issued 6,193 home assistance loans totaling one-billion-dollars in mortgage and down payment assistance loans.
That was the most since the agency was founded in 1966.
CEO Amy Hovey says home ownership “remains one of the strongest pathways to long-term economic security.”
