DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Gas prices in Michigan are 13 cents a gallon lower than last week.
AAA Michigan says the average price is now $2.85, four cents less than last month and down 24 cents from last year.
A 15-gallon tank of gas costs $42 on average around the state.
Michigan’s highest price is in Ann Arbor at $2.98, and Traverse City has the lowest price at $2.61.
In southwest Michigan, prices are lowest in Allegan and Van Buren counties at $2.71, followed by Cass County at $2.72, Berrien County at $2.75, Calhoun County at $2.80, St. Joseph County at $2.81, Kalamazoo County at $2.87, Branch County at $2.70, and Barry County at $2.95.
