WATERVLIET TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A Kalamazoo man is in police custody in Berrien County for allegedly shooting a 34-year-old man from Perry at a rest area along I-94.
It happened just before 7:15 p.m. last night at the rest area in Watervliet Township along westbound I-94.
The suspect is a 26-year-old who’s name is being withheld until he is arraigned.
The Berrien County Sheriff’s Office has not said what led up to the shots being fired.
The victim is hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries in stable condition.
