KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Three of the four top seeds in the NCAA men’s hockey tournament are Michigan teams.
Defending national champion Western Michigan University is the top seed in the Loveland, Colorado regional and are ranked fourth overall.
The number-one overall seed is the Michigan Wolverines, who are the top seed in the Albany, New York regional.
The Michigan State Spartans are the top seed in the Worcester, New York regional.
The regional winners will move on to the Frozen Four in Las Vegas, with the national championship set to be played April 11th.
