KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Grand Rapids-based Fox Motors is purchasing Kalamazoo’s Maple Hill Auto Group.
Maple Hill Auto Group owner Jim VandenBerg says all employees will be retained by Fox Motors and the company will keep sponsoring their charitable activities in the area. Those include the Kalamazoo Holiday Parade and New Year’s Fest.
The sale price has not been revealed.
It is expected to be finalized within the next four months and is conditional upon the approval of the manufacturers represented by Maple Hill of Audi, Hyundai, Volkswagen, and Volvo.
VandenBerg has owned Maple Hill Auto Group for over 30 years.
This will be Fox Motor’s first dealership in Kalamazoo.
