WASHINGTON, April 16 (Reuters) – U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said on Thursday he expects President Donald Trump will name a nominee for the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention today or tomorrow.
“I expect that President Trump, I believe that he is going to release the nominations of the new team at CDC, including the new CDC administrator, or director, this week, hopefully today or tomorrow,” Kennedy told the health subcommittee of the House Appropriations Committee.
