DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The average price for gas in Michigan is up to $4.36 a gallon, the highest it’s been since May.
AAA Michigan says the price is up 13¢ from last week, 31¢ since last month, and a $1.22 higher than last year.
A 15-gallon tank of gas costs $65 on average in the state.
Michigan’s most expensive gas is in Lansing and Jackson at $4.43 and Marquette has the lowest price at $4.15.
In southwest Michigan, Allegan County has the lowest price at $4.31, followed by Calhoun County at $4.32, Berrien County at $4.34, Cass County at $4.35, St. Joseph and Van Buren counties at $4.38, Kalamazoo County at $4.42, and Barry County at $4.49.
