ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Seven tornadoes have been confirmed by the National Weather Service to have hit in Michigan during the storms that hit Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.
Two of them started in Allegan County.
One was an EF-0 and the other was an EF-1 tornado that started near Otsego and lifted in Barry County near Hickory Corners.
Consumers Energy responded to widespread power outages Wednesday.
Other tornadoes have been confirmed in Montcalm, Shiawassee, Saginaw, Washtenaw, and Wayne counties.
