KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A deadly shooting in a Kalamazoo skate park last week has resulted in Carlin Barcelo being charged with open murder, felony firearm, and carrying a concealed weapon.
Authorities accuse him of shooting and killing 29-year-old Telonn Horton Friday afternoon at Davis Street Park.
Barcelo was arrested early Saturday morning north of Augusta after he had driven off from the park following the shooting.
Horton’s girlfriend is pregnant and is expecting their first child.
